The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo
The Q Revo is a fantastic option if you're seeking a robot vacuum and mop that's priced in the middle. It's a great mopping performance but lacks certain of the more advanced features found in its more expensive counterpart.
During testing it was able to take on dry oats and dust on medium-pile carpet as well as pet hair on hard flooring. It does not use LIDAR however, as other models do to locate your home.
1. Roomba S9+ from iRobot
The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the most highly-rated robots. It is a powerful cleaner and a variety of features that include a self-emptying dirt compartment built into its charging base. This robot can learn your habits for cleaning and suggest automated schedules to give you the ultimate hands-free cleaning experience.
Setup is easy, thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once everything is connected, you can start the automated cleaning functions with the touch of one button. You can choose the general clean option that focuses on the removal of larger debris such as rice and cereal. You can also choose two mappings to ensure that your entire home is thoroughly cleaned.
This robot vacuum is effective on both bare floors and carpet with a low pile. It is able to take large objects and doesn't lose suction as quickly as other models do and can pick up pet hair without difficulty. It does have a hard time with plush or high-pile carpet, but iRobot promises it will improve in the future with new models.
The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that is focused on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which it hopes will allow it to be able to swaddle walls and furniture. It's a step up from the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are standard however we found it only marginally superior to circular models.
iRobot claims that the S9+ also has a superior filtration system which blocks microscopic particles and allergens recirculating throughout your home. We think it's a nice claim, but not enough to justify a premium price.
Its smart navigation system employs sensors that remember your home's layout and vSLAM technology to map the interior. It then cleans your entire home with ease by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundary markers to ensure that the robot is aware of the areas that require attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
When it comes to robots that combine mopping and vacuuming and mopping, the Roborock Q revo stands out. Its vacuum settings are as good as those on higher-end models. And its mopping system is even better as its spinning pads scrub floors better than an ordinary pad that vibrates.
The only drawback is that it doesn't have an additional rubber brush for more thorough cleaning, but it's an acceptable cost to pay for if you want one of the best robots on the market. The robo-vac's tank for dust is also larger than many of its rivals, and it takes just two or three cycles to fill it, even at the highest dirt level.
In terms of the mopping system, I was amazed by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. The two lowest mopping settings that are less powerful than the high-powered ones, create little noise, so you can work or even watch television without getting distracted. It will gently hit furniture or walls, and then move away if it comes across one.
What makes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to run nearly autonomously with very little need for human intervention. The robo-vac has a multifunction dock that automatically moves physical trash into the hidden bin and also cleans and drys the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app will only notify you when something is wrong, such as low water levels or a cancelled vacuuming session due to the bin being full.
You can also design and merge actual rooms to customize the way that Q Revo will treat your home. This feature is helpful when you have different flooring in different areas of your home, or in the event that you have to regularly remove clutter, such as clothes, toys, and books. The robot vacuum was also one of website the top performers in my tests and was able to remove debris from both carpets as well as hardwood floors on the first pass. It can even vacuum up wet spills. I suggest drying the area with a towel prior to sending it in.

It also comes with a brand new sensor system that is able to better detects obstacles, giving it the ability to prevent falling over furniture or other objects.

The robot is still large--it measures over two feet in both height and depth, and weighs almost four pounds. However the robot as well as its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot j7.
This model is also more efficient than the X1 version, since it charges faster and can complete a cleaning of around 1,500 square feet with just one charge. It also has a bigger dustbin that is more durable to hold more debris and is easier to empty when needed.
Finally, the X2 Omni has a more user-friendly app and voice assistant that operates offline, allowing you to control it even when you're not home. It also comes with a smart routing feature that allows it to clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead of following a set path.
The X2 Omni is the most effective robot for mopping. Its mop pads rotating remove tough stains and its motor generates lots of downward pressure. Its vacuuming capabilities are excellent as well and it enhances suction when it detects carpet to ensure it does the job well. It also has a large battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as powerful as the ones we've seen on a consumer-grade robot.

The left and right buttons beneath the screen will open the settings menu in which you can modify the way that the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.
The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of LIDAR and cameras-based navigation technology to map your home. This allows the robot to clean and mop efficiently, without getting stuck. The LIDAR also assists the robot vacuum recognize and avoid obstacles which is a great feature for households with children or pets.
The L10s Ultra is an efficient vacuum cleaner that removes 98.4 percent of the debris we test on hard floors and taking out all but stubborn juice stains. Its mops also perform well, removing 98.4 percent of debris from our tile, carpet, and wood tests. However, it wasn't quite as effective in removing sand from the floor or the quaker oats that are on carpet.
