The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo
The Q Revo is a great choice if you're looking for a robotic vacuum and mop that is mid-range. It provides a fantastic mopping experience but lacks the features that make up its more expensive counterpart.
In the course of testing, it was able to take on dust and dry oats on carpets of medium pile as well as pet hair on hard flooring. It doesn't employ LIDAR, however, like cheaper models do, to locate your home.
1. Roomba S9+ from iRobot
The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated robot vacuums. It is loaded with features and impressive cleaning power, including a dirt compartment that is integrated into the base of charging. It can also learn your cleaning habits and suggest schedules that are automatic to ensure you have a hands-free experience.
The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once the system is set up you can begin the automatic cleaning with a single button press. You can choose an overall clean that focuses on the removal of larger particles like rice and cereal. Or you can opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that your home is cleaned thoroughly.
This robot vac performs well on both floors that are bare and low-pile carpet. It can remove pet hair and sucks large objects up. It doesn't lose suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It does have a hard time with high-pile or plush carpet, but iRobot claims it will improve in the future with new models.
The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that focuses on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that adopts an open-fronted, flat-fronted design. The company hopes that this will allow it hug walls and furniture. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are widely used however we found it to be just marginally superior to circular models.
iRobot claims that the S9+ also has a superior filtration system that blocks tiny particles and allergens from circulating in your home. It's a nice claim however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the premium price tag.
Its smart navigation system employs sensors that remember your home's layout and vSLAM technology to map the interior. This allows it to stay clear of obstacles, such as staircases and other barriers, and to tidy up your entire house efficiently possible. The iRobot Home app lets you manage the robot and plan cleaning times, as well as establish virtual boundaries, so it can recognize areas that need extra attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
When it comes to robots that combine vacuuming and mopping and mopping, the Roborock Q revo is a standout. Its vacuum settings are just as good as those on more expensive models. And its mopping system is better because its spinning pads clean your floors more efficiently than an ordinary pad that vibrates.

As for the mopping system, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping settings which are less powerful than the high-powered settings, produce minimal noise, meaning you can work or watch television without being distracted. It will gently bump into a wall or furniture and move on if it comes across one.
The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost entirely on its own, requiring only minimal user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac is multifunctional and automatically transfers trash into a hidden bin. It also cleans, dries and refills the clean water tank. The app is good at nagging you only when something is in need of attention, such as the water tank being empty or a scheduled vacuuming session being cancelled because of a full dust bin.
You can also create or merge actual rooms in order to personalize the way Q Revo handles your home. That's a handy feature for those who have multiple areas of the home with different flooring materials or there's a lot of clutter that must be cleared out frequently, such as clothes, toys, and books. The robo-vac was also one of the best performers in my test and was able to remove debris from carpets as well as hardwood floors on the first go. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I recommend drying the area with a towel prior to sending it into.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a high-end robot vacuum and mop combo and more. It has a rotating mop and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It's akin to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has a self-cleaning station that automatically washes and cleans the mop pads to keep them clean and ready to be reused. It also has a sensor that recognizes obstacles better which allows it to avoid falling on furniture and other objects.
The biggest difference over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this version is sleeker and more modern design due to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). While still quite massive--it's nearly two feet in height and depth and weighs in excess of four pounds--the entire robot and its base are much smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.
This model is also more efficient than the X1 one, because it has faster battery charging and can complete a cleaning of around 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also has a bigger, more durable dustbin to hold more debris, making it check here easier to empty when required.
The X2 Omni also has a more intuitive voice assistant and an app that is functional even when you're at home. It also has more mopping modes and an intelligent routing feature which allows it to clean specific rooms or areas of your house instead of simply following a predetermined route.
The X2 Omni is the top robot at mopping. Its mop pads that rotate clean tough stains and its motor produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming capabilities are excellent too and it increases suction when it detects carpets to ensure that it does the job well. It is equipped with a large rechargeable battery that lasts up to a week. The mopping feature of the robot is also powerful.
4. Dreametech L10s Ultra
The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a top-quality model that has a range of convenience features not often found on robots of this price. It is able to create detailed floor maps and identify different types of flooring. It's also among the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These are nice features however they can push the L10s into the luxury category. This could make it more expensive than what homeowners want.
The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It's tall and slim and has a white-colored finish accented with silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine features an impressive bumper that protects the furniture and vacuum cleaner as you move around your home. Sensors are hidden behind the front pane which helps the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top, you'll find one button that basically serves as the on/off switch. This button will turn on the vacuum. If you click it again, it will turn it off and transmit it back to its base station. The circular menu at the middle of the control panel lets you to select cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons will open the app's settings which allow you to customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.
Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation techniques to help you map out your home. The mops also work well and remove 98.4% debris from our carpet, tile, and wood tests. However, it wasn't quite as great at tackling sand on the floor, or quaker oats on the carpet.
