The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo
The Q Revo is an excellent option for those looking for a mid-priced mop and robot vacuum. It gives a great mopping experience but lacks the advanced features of its more expensive sibling.
During tests it was able to remove pet hair and dry oats from medium-pile carpets. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't use LIDAR to determine the layout of your home.

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the most highly-rated robots. It has impressive cleaning power and numerous features such as the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. This robot can learn your cleaning habits, and suggest automatic schedules to give you a truly hands-free cleaning experience.
The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once the system is in place you can begin the automatic cleaning with a single button press. You can opt for a general clean that prioritizes the removal of large debris such as cereal and rice or go for two detailed maps of your space to ensure that your home has a clean and tidy appearance.
This robot vac performs well on both floors that are bare and carpets with low pile. It is able to take large objects and does not lose suction as fast as other models do, and it can even remove pet hair with ease. It's not able to work with plush or high-pile carpets however, iRobot promises that the next models will be better.
The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that concentrates on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted, D-shaped design, which will allow it to hug furniture and walls. It's a significant improvement over hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are common however we found it only marginally better than circular models.
iRobot claims that the S9+ also features an advanced filtration system which blocks tiny particles and allergens from circulating in your home. We think this is a nice claim but not enough to justify a premium price.
Its smart navigation system employs sensors that remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology for mapping the interior. This allows it to avoid obstacles, like stairs and other barriers and to tidy up your entire home in the most efficient way possible. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and schedule cleaning times, and create virtual boundary markers, so it is aware of areas that require more attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
Roborock Q Revo is a machine that is a combination of mopping and vacuuming. Its vacuum settings are just as good as those on more expensive models. The mopping system is even better because its spinning pads scrub floors better than the vibrating pads.
The only drawback is that it does not have a second rubber brush to provide more thorough cleaning, but that's a small cost to pay for if you want to get one of the best robots on the market. The robo-vac's dust tank is larger than many of its competitors, and it takes just two or three cycles to fill it up, even at the highest dirt level.
For the mopping system, I was impressed by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. Its two mopping modes at the lowest that are less aggressive than the higher-powered ones create little noise, allowing you to work or even watch TV without distraction. It will gently hit furniture or walls, and then move away if it comes across one.
What really distinguishes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to operate almost completely on its own, with no need for user intervention. The dock of the robo-vac is multifunctional and can automatically transfer trash into a hidden bin. It also washes, dries and refills the clean water tank. The app is good at notifying you when something needs attention, like the water tank being empty or a scheduled vacuuming session having been canceled due to a stuffed dust bin.
You can also design and merge rooms to modify how the Q Revo manages your home. This feature is useful for those who have different flooring in different areas of your home, or if you need to regularly get rid of clutter like clothes, toys and books. The robot vacuum was also among the best performers in my tests cleaning up debris from carpets and hardwood floors with the first attempt. It is able to even remove wet spills but I would suggest drying them with a cloth before sending the robot into.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum with all the features you could need. It comes with the ability to rotate mops and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It is similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with an automatic cleaning station that washes and empties mop pads to keep them clean and ready to be reused. It also has a sensor that recognizes obstacles better, allowing it to avoid falling on furniture and other objects.
The most notable improvement to the ECOVACS The X1 Deebot is the modern, sleeker design. This is thanks to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot is still quite large. It measures over two feet in the height and depth and weighs almost four pounds. However the robot as well as its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot j7.
This model is also more efficient than the X1, as it charges faster and can handle a complete cleaning of about 1,500 square feet with just one charge. It also has a bigger dustbin that floor vacuum robot is more durable and can hold more debris which makes it easier to empty it when needed.
Finally it is worth noting that the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app and voice assistant that operates offline, so you can control it even when you're not home. It also has a smart routing function that lets it clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead of following a set path.
The X2 Omni is the top robot at mopping. Its rotating mop pads clean tough stains and its motor produces lots of downward pressure. The vacuuming capabilities are also excellent, and it increases suction when it senses carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It also has a large battery that can last for weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as efficient as any we've seen in an ordinary robot.
4. Dreametech L10s Ultra
The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a top-quality model that comes with a variety of convenience features not often found on robots of this price. It has the ability to create detailed floor maps, detect different types of flooring, and it's one of the few to automatically wash and dry its mop pads. These are nice features however they can push the L10s into the class of luxury. This could mean it's more expensive than homeowners need.
The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It's tall and slim with a white finish, accentuated by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine has an enormous bumper that shields the furniture and vacuum cleaner while moving around your home. Sensors are hidden behind the front panel, which help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top of the screen, you'll find one button that serves as the on/off switch. This button will activate the vacuum. By pressing it again, you can turn it off and transmit it to its base station. The circular menu at the middle of the control panel allows users to select cleaning options, schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons below the screen will bring up the settings menu of the app where you can alter the way that the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.
The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination LIDAR and cameras-based navigation technology to map your home. This creates a detailed floor plan that allows the robot vacuum and mop with ease and avoid getting stuck in cluttered areas. The LIDAR assists the robot vacuum to avoid obstacles and recognize them, which is an excellent feature for homes with pets or small children.
The L10s Ultra is an efficient vacuum cleaner that removes 98.4% debris from our test on hard floors and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice stains. Its mops also perform well, removing 98.4% debris from our carpet, tile and wood tests. However, it wasn't as efficient in dealing with sand on the floor or quaker oats on the carpet.
